Princeton FC (PFC) was founded in 2007 as the new and progressive soccer club in Princeton. PFC is Princeton’s premier soccer club with 37 travel soccer teams competing at a high level both inside and outside New Jersey. We are focused on developing youth soccer players in a fun and challenging environment where learning the game's technical elements and tactical principles takes place. Our teams compete in EDP, EDP Futures, JAGS and Mid NJ Leagues, as well as NJYS State Cup, US Club State Cup and other elite tournaments.
All of our travel teams have engaging, expert and dedicated, top-level professional training and coaching. Our professional coaching staff consists of UEFA "A", USSF "A", NSCAA Premier and other Nationally Licensed coaches. Several of our professional trainers and coaches have played first division professional soccer and some have coached National or Collegiate level teams.
We also have an outstanding Junior Development Program for kids aged 4-8 years old. Princeton FC prides itself on teaching players to love the beautiful game of soccer
and providing the age appropriate training and coaching necessary for players to reach their highest potential.
Our Supplemental Programs for players age U8-U14 provide opportunities to further develop the soccer abilities using the PFC progressive curriculum. We are proud of the level of soccer education and player improvement in our Technical Training, Goalkeeper Training and Summer Select Programs.
ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE LAST TEN YEARS
We are a club that have progressed very quickly over a short period of time thanks to our professional staff and dedicated families. Here we look back at what we have achieved during our first ten years:
The club grew in numbers - from two travel teams at its inception to 37 travel teams and another 100+ junior (3-8 yrs old) players now.
We assembled a great coaching staff - our professional coaching staff consists of UEFA "A", USSF "A", USC Premier, and other Nationally Licensed coaches. Several of our professional coaches have played top division professional soccer, some have coached National or Collegiate level teams.
We added outstanding administration staff to provide you with top-level service and help you navigate through all sorts of questions and topics.
We improved the communication and registration platforms with the PFC website overhaul and the introduction of TeamSnap.
We have gradually improved what we can use as training and games facilities. The biggest improvement is the Princeton University Indoor Stadium - our home for the Winter training and League.
We run our own Indoor League, which this year and only in its second year has attracted close to 30 guest teams from other clubs.
We are committed to the community and we have not turned down any player for financial reasons. Thanks to our Financial Aid fund we have been able to include all kids, who want to play soccer.
We have established ourselves as the most stable and reliable youth soccer organization in our area.
We have a strong history of our players progressing year after year to play collegiate soccer.
We have players who have moved on to become professional players, who graduated PFC - Most notably Matthew Olosunde with Manchester United (UK) and Antoine Hoppenot with Philadelphia Union (MLS).
PFC has become a very strong soccer program - we have over 150 tournament champions and finalists. We have State, Regional and National champions. Just in the 2018 year alone, we had 4 State Cup semi-finalists, 2 finalists, 1 state cup winner - the 2002 girls Napoli represented the region in West Virginia, and the 2002 boys Boca went all the way to Aurora, CO to win the National Cup.
PLAN FOR THE NEXT TEN YEARS
We are not done with our efforts to provide you with an even better future experience. Please see below our plans for the next ten years:
We would like to have a consistent acceptance and participation in some of the top-level tournaments in the country - like Disney (FL), Dallas Cup (TX), Jefferson Cup (VA), USA Cup (MN), ect to name some of them. International competitive trips are also in our scope of possible options to enhance the experience.
More Collegiate commitments from our players to continue their soccer careers after graduating from our Club.
We would like to be able to provide even better financial assistance to those in need. No one should have to miss a tournament, showcase, or any event because they cannot afford the expenses. We would like to expand our abilities to help through our Financial Aid fund.
We would like to establish a partnership with a corporate sponsor(s) to help us further update and modernize our equipment, uniforms, facilities, etc.
We would focus on building our own facilities - turf training and games fields, clubhouse, etc.
