Coach Stanislav Vasilev ("Coach Slavi")
Staff Coach and Head Coach of the 2015 Boys Teams - Aston Villa Black and Aston Villa Orange
With over 11 years of coaching experience at the travel level, Coach Slavi brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to Princeton FC. Originally from Bulgaria, he played soccer at the local club Vihren Sandanski, progressing from junior levels to the men’s second division.
Coach Slavi began his soccer education in 2014 at Princeton FC, learning directly from our CEO, Stoyan Pumpalov, through training sessions and games. In 2016, he took on the role of head coach for the 2010 Boys team, eventually leading two 2010 teams for a successful seven-year tenure. Throughout his coaching journey, he has been deeply involved in club and community programs, with a strong focus on player and coach development.
His commitment to soccer education is evident through his qualifications, which include the U.S. Soccer “F” Certificate and USSF “D” Licenses. Over the years, Coach Slavi has successfully led his teams to numerous tournaments and league championships.
Outside of soccer, Coach Slavi is passionate about family and the ongoing development of coaches and players alike. He resides in Monroe Township, NJ, where he continues to inspire the next generation of soccer players.
