Princeton FC Staff Coach
Coach Elon recently moved back to Princeton from Indiana with his wife and nine year old daughter. He started working for PFC in November, 2023.
Coach Elan grew up in Princeton and was fortunate enough to learn and play soccer here in the 90's. He also spent a summer in Bolivia playing and training with the Tahuichi Academy. He played for Princeton High School when we won the State Championship in 1995 and he played for the German American Kicker team that won the club State Championship in 1996. He went on to play for Mercer County Community College in 1997 when we were second in the NJCAA tournament. He also played with a number of semi-professional teams.
Coach Elan's coaching background started in high school with the Bob Smith soccer camps. He has since coached a number of different places and ages. Most recently he was coaching the entire U9 girls age group (three teams) and a high school boys program in Indianapolis. He hold the USSF 'D' coaching license, and look for ways to learn more everyday. His coaching philosophy attempts to empower the players by teaching them as much about the game as possible so that individuals and teams can make independent decisions in real time.
